Players will play in the age group they would play in Spring of 2022

Players play up to get ready for Spring Season.

Baseball age as of May 1st, 2022 is the age in which you will play.  Cost $55.00

Softball: age as of Jan.1st 2022 is the age in which you will play.  Cost $55.00

Teeball: age as of May 1st 2021 this year $25.00

Baseball/Teeball includes: Hat and T-shirt Ages 3-12

Softball Includes: T-Shirt and Visor Ages 5-16

Baseball players need a pants, belt, glove, helmet, bat, & cleats. These items may be purchased at any local retailer.

Softball players need cleats, pants, belt, glove, helmet w/facemask, bat, faceguard (for players while in the field).

Tee-ball ages 3&4 include: Hat and T-shirt.

Games are played on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Tee-ball players will need bat, helmet, pants, and glove.

Practice will start around the 3rd week in Aug. Once season has started, we play games and do not have practice times open.  The only day we would have open is Wednesday’s.

Season for Teeball, baseball and softball will start Tuesday Sept.7th

Season will go through Oct. 28th

We will not play Hamilton County Fall Break.

Teeball, baseball and softball teams will play around 10-12 games for the fall season.  We will also play teams from around the area, not just at Camp Jordan. Which means we play games around the Chattanooga area.

Baseball/Tee ball: age as of May 1st, 2022 is the age in which you will play. Ages 4-12.

Softball: age as of Jan. 1st, 2022 is the age in which you will play.  Ages 5-16.

Online sign-ups will be open from Jan. 17th- Feb. 28th.

Baseball includes: Jersey, pants, hat.  Cost:90.00 per player. 

East Ridge Baseball (ages 5-12) provides a Jersey, pants, cap, & belt.  Tee ball-Jersey, Pants and Hat.

Players/parents are to provide a glove, helmet, bat, & cleats. These items may be purchased at any local retailer.

East Ridge Softball (ages 5-16) provides a Shirt, pants, belt, socks. Parents/guardians are to provide, cleats, glove, helmet w/facemask, bat, faceguard (for players while in the field) and if necessary, shin pads. 

Tee-ball age 4 will play from the middle of April-June. Includes Jersey, pants, and hat.

Players/parents are to provide a glove, helmet, bat, & cleats. These items may be purchased at any local sports retailer.

Practice should start around the first week of March.  Practice times are 6pm and 7:15pm.

That is up to coaches on how many times they practice each week. Once season has started, we play games. We will offer Wednesday night for any team that would like to practice as that will be the only time, we have fields open. Games days Mon, Tues, and Thurs. Some Saturday games.

Season start time for baseball is March 28th.

Season will go through May 19th.

ER Boys and Girls Mid-season tournament is TBA. Each team works gates/brings food for umpires

Season will run March – May.

Softball will end around May 19th.

 Baseball and softball teams will play around 14 games for the season.  We will also play teams from around the area. Not just at Camp Jordan.

Softball program info

The City of East Ridge Parks and Recreation Softball program is open to players 5 thru 16 years old. The 5-8 year old divisions are coach pitch and the 9-16 divisions are competitive kid pitch. The age group determination cut-off date is January 1 of the current year. Participants may play up a division, but may not play down.

Spring teams are drafted in Early March. (ages 5-16) and practices begin shortly thereafter. The season starts in early April and concludes in May. Teams play approximately 14 games scheduled all days with the exception of Wednesday and Sunday. Teams typically play two or three games per week. Weeknight games begin at 6:00 and 7:30 PM, while weekend games can begin as early as 9:00 AM. Pre-season tournament games will be played on Wednesday and Sunday’s.

East Ridge Parks and Recreation Softball plays Scenic City Softball with other area leagues throughout Hamilton County.

The City of East Ridge provides a jersey, matching shorts and socks. Players/parents need to provide a glove, batting helmet with a face mask, bat, and cleats. These items may be purchased at any local sporting goods retailer.
