East Ridge Parks and Recreation T-Ball Program

We are excited to offer T-Ball for boys and girls ages 3 and 4!

T-ball Spring 2026

Important Dates:

• Registration: January 2 – March 2
• Ages: 3 and 4 (Player age as of May 1, 2026)
• Coaches Meeting: March 3 at 6pm at Camp Jordan Arena
• Practice Begins: Week of March 5th
• Season: March 24 – May 8 (7 weeks, 1 game per week).

Fee

Fee: $45 per player (Includes Jersey, Pants, Hat)

Practice and Game Schedule:

• Practices: Determined by the coach, could be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 6:00-6:45 PM or 6:45-7:15 PM. Once the season starts, we will be limited to Wednesday practice slots.
• Games: 7-game schedule, one game per week on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday (dependent on the number of teams).
• Location: All games will be held at Camp Jordan.

Equipment:

• Players/parents need to provide a batting helmet, glove and cleats or tennis shoes.
• Bats are optional, as they may be shared. If you prefer your own, we recommend purchasing them from any local retailer.

Spring Baseball 2026

We are excited to offer baseball for kids ages 5 through 12. Our season includes a 12-14 game schedule with games on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Weekend tournaments are available at the discretion of the coach and team. Games will be held at Camp Jordan, Harrison, Lookout Valley, Fort O, Chickamauga, and Rock Spring.

• Fee: $100 per player (Includes Jersey, Pants, Socks, Belt, Hat)

Game and Practice Schedule:

• Games: 2 games per week at 6:15 PM or 7:30 PM
• Practices: Start around the week of March 5th, at 6:00 PM or 7:15 PM. Once the season begins, practices are limited to Wednesday nights.

Equipment:

• Players/parents need to provide a batting helmet, glove and cleats.
• Bats are optional, as they may be shared. If you prefer your own, we recommend purchasing them from any local retailer.
• For ages 5‐12, all non‐wood bats “MUST” meet 1.15 BPF (Bat Performance Factor) for the life of the bat and “MUST” possess a “clearly identifiable” manufacture’s certification stamp. This will include 2 1/4, 2 5/8, and 2 3/4 barrel bats. The 1:15 stamped bat is also legal.  BBCOR bats are legal for use in ages 5‐12.  USA BATS are legal for use in ages 5-12. b) For ages 13‐19, all non‐wood bats “MUST” meet BBCOR (Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution) and “MUST” possess a “clearly identifiable” manufacture’s certification stamp.  A bat shall not weigh numerically more than, three ounces less than the length of the bat.  The diameter of the bat shall be no larger than 2 5/8 barrel.

Softball

East Ridge Baseball has partnered with D-Bat! By signing up with East Ridge your kid will be able to go to D-Bat and get a free swing card each day (Friday through Sunday).  

We offer baseball to kids ages 5 through 12 years old. We will play 12-14 game schedule with games on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  Tournaments are offered on the weekends to enter and that is up to the coach and the team. We play at Camp Jordan, Catoosa, Lookout Valley, Fort O, Chickamauga, and Rock Spring.

• Season: September 2 - October 22

Teams will play 2 games during the week. 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. For 6u and 7u. 10u and 12u will be 6 and 7:30

Practice should start around the week of August 23rd.  Practice times are 6:00 pm and 7:15pm.  Once season has started, practices are limited. We will offer Wednesday night for any team that would like to practice as that will be the only time, we have fields open.

Baseball players/parents are to provide pants, glove and cleats.  Helmet and Bat are optional as other kids may have one to share. If you want your own, then we suggest you buy it. These items may be purchased at any local retailer.
