Splashpad

The City of East Ridge welcomes everyone to enjoy the Splash Pad in a safe manner. The Splash Pad is defined as the area inside the fence. Persons using the Splash Pad must comply with all rules.

 The splashpad is located behind the Pioneer Frontier Playground,  1507 Tombras Ave, East Ridge TN, 37412. 

HOURS OF OPERATION

Days: Open 7 Days a Week

Hours: 11:00am to 7:00pm                             

Season: June  to September

The Splashpad has no entry fee, it is a free amenity to the community. 

Splashpad Rules and Regulations

The Splash Pad may be closed at any time due to weather or other operational concerns. 

 

Splash Pad must be vacated at the first sign of thunder or lightning.

 

TO START: Locate the orange activator post and push the hand.

SAFETY RULES

  1. The Splash Pad is NOT a supervised area – use at your own risk. 

  2. The City of East Ridge is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 

  3. It is recommended that children under 12 years of age be accompanied by a parent/guardian. 

  4. All users must conduct themselves in a courteous, safe, and family oriented manner. Running, roughness, horseplay, foul language, and other disturbances are strictly prohibited.

  5. Do not climb, hang, swing, or pull on the Splash Pad equipment.

  6. Pool toys are prohibited. 

  7. No glass containers or breakable objects allowed.

  8. No food or beverages of any kind in the Splash Pad. 

  9. The Splash Pad is for recreational purposes only. No bathing.

  10. Water shoes or sandals are recommended. No street shoes. 

  11. No  skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, or scooters allowed in the Splash Pad. Strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs are allowed. 

  12. This is a non-smoking environment, please refrain from the use of any smoking, including E-cigarettes. 

 

HEALTH DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS

  1. Spray features use recirculated water – DO NOT DRINK. 

  2. Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper covered by rubber pants.

  3. No animals on or near the splash pad. 

  4. Pollution of the spray area is prohibited. Urinating, discharge of fecal matter, spitting, or blowing the nose within the splash                   pad is prohibited.

All organized groups (such as Daycares, Pre-Schools, Child Care providers, Church groups, Summer Camps, etc.) are required to have a pavilion rental and splash pad reservation to the splash pad. All reservations can we done online at https://eastridge.recdesk.com/Community/Facility

This can be done Monday-Friday from 10am-11am ONLY
