ER Friday Night Lights: Spring Flag Football

Registration:

• Open from January 1st through March 17th CLICK HERE to sign up
• $75.00 per player (includes Flag Belts and Shirt)

Season:

• 6-game season
• Games on Friday nights
• Game Dates: March 28, April 4, 18, 25; May 2, 9 (End of Season Tournament on May 16)
• One game per night; one Friday will feature a doubleheader for each team

End of Season (EOS) Tournament:

• Gate fee will be charged
• Rings awarded to winners and finalists

Age Groups by Grade Level:

• K/1
• 2/3
• 4/5
• 6/8

League Rules:

• Same rules as the Fall Season to ensure consistency.

East Ridge Parks and Rec are always welcoming volunteer coaches. We look for passionate people, know the game, respect the game, and willing to give back to the kids. It starts with you in order to have a successful season. We will provide all the equipment and you get to pick what team you want to be! We even use this app called Mojo Sports and it has all the tools you need to be a successful coach.

You are responsible for communicating with parents about practices and games. Practice once a week and play on Friday Nights. Flag Football is about being creative and having fun. 

We need coaches in grades K/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, and 6th/8th.

Uniform/Equipment:
*NFL Flag Jersey, Shorts and Flag Belts (Included in your registration) Anyone who registers late will come in later than others. 
*All participants will be required to wear a mouth guard during the games, mouth guards can be purchased at Academy Sports locally. 
*Shorts and/or sweatpants without pockets are to be worn during games. Each team must have same color shorts.                                                                   *Participants can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers.  

Practices/Gamedays:                                                                        *Teams would practice once a week. Up to the coach.                                *Games on Saturdays. Makeup games could require doubleheaders on Sunday Mid-Day. Game times are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm every 60 minutes depending on number of teams in the league.                                   *Games will be played at Camp Jordan, Fort O, Ooltewah, Middle Valley, and Soddy Daisy.                                                                                      *We use Tourney Machine for the schedule.

Welcome to ER Flag Football!

We are thrilled to announce another exciting season of Flag Football this Fall. Our league is organized by grade level and is open to students from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.

Season Details:

• Start Date: September 7
• End Date: November 9
• Game Days: Saturdays
• Locations: Camp Jordan, Fort O, Middle Valley, Ooltewah, and Soddy Daisy
• Season Format: 8-game season, including an end-of-season tournament
• Player Gear: Jersey, Shorts, and Flag Belt provided

Important Dates:

• Team Announcements: By August 20
• Registration Period: July 5 - August 18
• Registration Fee: $85 per player (includes Jersey, Shorts, and Flag Belt)

Age Groups:

• K-1st
• 2nd-3rd
• 4th-5th
• 6th-8th

Team Registration: Teams will also be accepted for each grade level.
