ER Friday Night Lights: Spring Flag Football

Registration:

• $90.00 per player (includes Flag Belts and Jersey)

Season:

• 6-game season
• Games on Friday nights
• Coaches Meeting March 5 at Camp Jordan Arena at 5:30- 9pm
• Team Announcements: By March 6th
• Game Dates: March 20, 27 April 10, 17,24 May 1, (End of Season Tournament on May 8) 
• Backup Date is May 15th
• One game per night; one Friday will feature a doubleheader for each team
• Practice is once a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings whichever works best for the coach. Times can be 6-7:30 or 7:00-8:15pm here at Camp Jordan Park 

End of Season (EOS) Tournament:

• Gate fee will be charged
• Rings awarded to winners and finalists

Age Groups by Grade Level:

• K/1
• 2/3
• 4/5
• 6/8:    

League Rules:

• Same rules as the Fall Season to ensure consistency.

Welcome to East Ridge Flag Football – Fall 2025 Season

We are excited to welcome you back for another thrilling season of Flag Football this fall! East Ridge Flag Football offers a fun, competitive, and structured environment for student-athletes from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Our league continues to grow each year, and we look forward to providing a great experience for players, coaches, and families this season.

Season Overview

• Season Dates: September 6 – November 8
• Game Days: Saturdays
• Game Locations: Camp Jordan, Fort Oglethorpe, and Ooltewah
• Format: 8-game regular season, followed by a single-day end-of-season tournament
• Practice is once a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings whichever works best for the coach. Times can be 6-7:30 or 7:00-8:15pm here at Camp Jordan Park

• Jamboree (Preseason Event): August 23 gate will be charged.

Registration Details

• Fee: $90 per player
  • Includes game performance jersey, shorts, and flag belt.
• Team Registration: Team sign-ups are available at each grade level. All players must still be registered individually.

• 6th – 8th Grade

East Ridge Parks and Rec are always welcoming volunteer coaches. We look for passionate people, know the game, respect the game, and willing to give back to the kids. It starts with you in order to have a successful season. We will provide all the equipment and you get to pick what team you want to be! We even use this app called Mojo Sports and it has all the tools you need to be a successful coach.

You are responsible for communicating with parents about practices and games. Practice once a week and play on Friday Nights. Flag Football is about being creative and having fun. 

We need coaches in grades K/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, and 6th/8th.

Uniform/Equipment:

• *NFL Flag Jersey, Shorts and Flag Belts (Included in your registration) Anyone who registers late will come in later than others. 
• *All participants will be required to wear a mouth guard during the games, mouth guards can be purchased at Academy Sports locally. 
• *Shorts and/or sweatpants without pockets are to be worn during games. Each team must have same color shorts.                                                                 
• *Participants can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers.  

Practices/Gamedays:                                                               

• *Teams would practice once a week. Up to the coach.       
• *Games on Saturdays.
• Makeup games could require doubleheaders on Sunday Mid-Day.
• Game times are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm every 60 minutes depending on number of teams in the league.                                
• Games will be played at Camp Jordan, Fort O, Ooltewah,

*We use Tourney Machine for the schedule.
