East Ridge Spring Softball 2024
East Ridge Softball has partnered with D-Bat! By signing up with East Ridge your kid will be able to go to D-Bat and get a free swing card each day (Friday through Sunday).
We offer Softball to kids ages 5 through 16 years old. We will play 12-14 game schedule with games on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Tournaments are offered on the weekends to enter and that is up to the coach and the team. We play in the Scenic City Softball league and will play games around the Chattanooga and North Georgia area.

Softball Age Groups: 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/13, 13/16.
Fee: $100.00 Includes Jersey, Pants, Socks, Belt, Visors, and D-Bat Partnership.
Teams will play 2 games during the week. 6:15 PM or 7:30 PM.
Practice should start around the week of March 4. Practice times are 6:00 pm and 7:15pm. Once season has started, practices are limited. We will offer Wednesday night for any team that would like to practice as that will be the only time, we have fields open.
Softball players/parents are to provide a glove and cleats. Helmet and Bat are optional as other kids may have one to share. If you want your own, then we suggest you buy it. These items may be purchased at any local retailer.

Softball program info
The City of East Ridge Parks and Recreation Softball program plays in the scenic city league. We offer to players 5 thru 16 years old. The age group determination cut-off date is January 1 of the current year. Participants may play up a division but may not play down.
Coach Pitch is 5/6 and 7/8.
Kid pitch is 9/10, 11/13 and 13/16
Softball players/parents are to provide, cleats, glove, helmet w/facemask, bat, faceguard (for players while in the field) and if necessary, shin pads.
Parents & Kids
All children in the park are required to have a parent or guardian with them at all times. To prevent kids from getting hurt, lost, or tearing things up we ask everyone to work together to keep each other safe.
