The City of East Ridge recreational baseball program is open to players ages 4 thru 14. The Teeball, 5-6, 7-8-yr old divisions are coach pitch. The 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 divisions are player pitch. The age group determination cut-off date is April 30 of the current year. Participants may play up a division, but may not play down.

Spring  2018 teams are drafted in early March (ages 5-12) and practices begin shortly thereafter. The season begins in early April and concludes in May. Teams play a schedule of approximately 14-18 games. Games are scheduled to be played every day with the exception of Weds. & Sun. Teams typically play two or three games per week. Weekday games begin at 6:00 & 7:30 PM, while weekend games can begin as early as 9:00 AM.

City of East Ridge provides a shirt, cap, pants and belt. Players/parents are to provide a glove, helmet, bat, and cleats. These items may be purchased at any local retailer.

The 13/14 year old division does not begin play until mid-May after the conclusion of the middle school baseball season. You may; however, sign your child up for 13/14 year old play during our open registration beginning in late January (check our home for exact dates & times). You may also obtain a registration form from the Community Center during the months of April & early May. This division will play approximately half of their games at Camp Jordan, while the other half will be played at other parks around Hamilton County.
