After an extremely successful first year the ERFC will hold its second year of tryouts starting on May 21. The ERFC teams captured 12 tournament championships this past season and were finalists in 23 more tournaments across the Southeastern United States. In addition, the ERFC U15 boys captured TN Soccer’s State Championship and the U16 boys were champions of TN Soccer’s State League. The U12 and U14 girls have both qualified for the Division I State Cup.

East Ridge resident Chris Slatton pulled in a big catfish while fishing at Jack Dickert Pond at Camp Jordan on Monday May 20. Slatton was fishing with, are you kidding? He's not going to give his secrets away. Slatton was a good citizen and followed the pond rules by releasing the big cat to be caught again.
