Beautiful Camp Jordan Park offers a variety of recreation opportunities for people of all lifestyles.

"The Pride of East Ridge, Tennessee" is a 275-acre city-operated recreation facility located approximately one mile off Interstate 75 at Exit 1 just across the state line out of Georgia.

The East Ridge Parks and Recreation Department is working to make Camp Jordan Park not only one of the best and most beautiful, but the friendliest park around.

The picturesque park has 13 Musco-lighted baseball/softball fields, 12 soccer fields, including eight that have Musco lights and a stadium field that is lit to meet ESPN broadcast quality.

The soccer fields are also used for Ultimate Frisbee and are the home of the 2012 USA Ultimate Frisbee High School Eastern Championships.

The baseball facility has been home to many Dizzy Dean World Series and is now the host of the Church Softball (formerly Baptist) World Series.

Recreation and select tournaments in softball and baseball are played at Camp Jordan from the middle of February until late October.

The Camp Jordan Arena is 34,000 square foot and can seat up to 5,500 people for a variety of events including conventions. The parking lot holds more than 1,000 vehicles and a nearby RV Lot has 300 spaces available to campers.

The Arena has been home to the Shrine Circus, MMA fight nights, concerts, indoor football, indoor soccer, a variety of gun, coin and dog shows, rodeos and educational conferences.

The Amphitheater features a large stage and is home to the Jfest Christian Concert, Libertyfest, Bugapalooza and other concerts throughout the year.

Camp Jordan also has a paved 2-mile walking track, a fishing pond, a picnic pavilion, two beach volleyball courts, a large children’s play area and coming soon will be a disc golf course.

Camp Jordan is conveniently located. Nashville, Knoxville, Atlanta, Birmingham and Huntsville all are less than a two-hour drive from the entrance to the park.

Within one mile of the park is more than 1,500 It hotel rooms and many restaurants to serve visitors.

Less than 10 minutes away is Hamilton Place, the largest shopping mall in the state of Tennessee.

In the Hamilton Place area is more than 2,000 motel rooms and hundreds of restaurants.

The Chattanooga Airport is also just 10 minutes away, and Groome Transportation, which provides travel as far as three hours away, is just a two miles from the park.

Camp Jordan is only 12 minutes from Downtown Chattanooga and one of the most beautiful waterfronts along the Tennessee River banks.
